I didn't read the first book in the series and you don't have to. I wish I did so I could know Jess character better.
Jess was very witty making her character very interesting. "Hell in a Hail storm." She said it so often and made me Laugh each time.
There was a plot twist. Plot twist make the story more interesting.
If you like Demons and magic you will like this book.
Character were fun to read about and the plot was fast paced.
