Release Date: 09/29/14

About Storm:
Summary from Goodreads:
Up until recently, Penelope was a witch with no magic. After having it stolen by a demon when she was just a child, Penelope had been forced to rely on sharing others’ powers as she went through the grueling training required to become an elite demon hunter. Now Penelope has more magic than she’s ever known. And when you’re this powerful, who needs salt to keep the demons away?

But power has a dark side.

Carter Prescott just wants to hunt demons and be with Penelope. But suddenly, witches who formerly had no magic are developing terrible, out-of-control powers. Now the world Carter swore to protect isn’t just endangered by malicious demons―it’s threatened by the same witches who once defended it. And Carter is horrified to see his girlfriend starting to change. Stronger. More powerful. Unrecognizable. It’s just a matter of time before Penelope changes into something far beyond his worst fears...

 About Salt 1ST book :
Penelope is a witch, part of a secret society protecting humans from demon attacks. But when she was a child, a demon killed her parents—and stole her magic. Since then, she’s been pretending to be something she’s not, using her sister’s magic to hide her own loss, to prevent being sent away.

When she’s finally given the chance to join the elite demon-hunting force, Penelope thinks that will finally change. With her sister’s help, she can squeeze through the tests and get access to the information she needs to find "her" demon. To take back what was stolen.

Then she meets Carter. He’s cute, smart, and she can borrow his magic, too. He knows her secret—but he also has one of his own.

Suddenly, Penelope’s impossible quest becomes far more complicated. Because Carter’s not telling her everything, and it’s starting to seem like the demons have their own agenda…and they’re far too interested in her.

My Review (Salt):
5/5
my review here
This book started out swell. actually fantastic!! I enjoyed How humorous Penelope is. Penelope starts off In the story as a "static" witch not being able to use her powers with out the help of her family. Until Carter comes along a random boy and somehow she can use her magic all she wants. Penelope learns that Carters magic comes at a price .
I really enjoyed this first book. The magic and the demons had me on the edge of my bed. I enjoyed it very much.
my review on good reads/B&N.
I LOVED THIS BOOK !! I was given this book for a honest review. But.. I also bought it !!! I enjoyed all the magic in this books good or not. Penelope is an fantastic main character with her humor and all
Carter, Carter, Carter. I dont even know what to say his fascination  with Penelope from the start drew me in.He is an amazing character with flaws and all. I liked the premise of the book being training school it made the book interesting!!
It defiantly is a To Be Read!!

(Storm review may give spoilers for salt)

My Review( Storm):
4/5
This book was hard to get into. Im not going to lie. I read Salt then took a break before I read Storm. So to get back in to Penelope and carter world took me a little bit longer than I wanted. Also this book is in two point of view Penelope and Carter. I liked that it was in Carters point of view. I got to really understand where Carter was coming from in the first book and his feelings in this book too.
Penelope has a big problem she can do magic but not just essence magic void magic. This magic is the magic of demons. Penelope and Carter don't have much time to figure out how to stop the void magic before something big happens...
When statics start receiving magic and Penelope becomes not her self her and Carters relationship might be in danger.
I missed Penelope's humor she was being over come by the void and all she could focus on is magic.
In the end I thought the author did a good job tying all the loose end in. Towards the end made be fear for Penelope's life. The action in this book is fantastic and faced paced.  Read salt before this Storm and if you read Salt you should read Storm.
