Ignite by Lily Paradis Tour Stop !!!!

Ignite by Lilly Paradis

About Ignite:

After her father’s untimely demise in a mining accident and her mother’s abandonment, Lauren Lindsay is no stranger to loss. She’s used to living life for one person: herself. That is, until another family tragedy thrusts three children into her care and uproots her life in ways she could never imagine. Lauren's first instinct is to run, until she meets their striking, mysterious neighbor Dean Powell. Their immediate chemistry and his connection with her late father just might be enough to keep her in town long enough to uncover pieces of her past that she never had answers to. Dean’s shady past and her reluctance to trust him could cost her the life she's always been searching for, but will she run back to her old life? Or will she choose to stay and live the life her father always imagined for her?

My Review:
Aww I dont even know where to start!!! Ok ill start here so when I received this book I had no idea what it was going to be about. I hate to say this but I didn't even read the snippet of the book tell I knew I was doing the Blog Tour Stop. Yes my mistake but maybe not. When I received this book I was in a reading slum and didn't know if I was going to be able to get through this book. So I gave it a try and I adored it from Page to Page to Page to Page!!
REASONS WHY :
1. The book felt so real. In a real sense being the emotion and the trials. Everything in this book could happen.
2.The love. Being a spectacle person I know love at first sight is not always the case.Or that your first love is your last.  This book teaches you it doesn't have to be.
3.Things happen for a reason. Many small life lessons were taught even though that might not have been Lily intentions.
4. The characters were very appealing.
5. Plot twist,  not big but small and they made the book more interesting .
6. The side characters. I liked all the sided characters very much . I loved that they also had a good impact to the story.
 And many many more things.
Why I thought the characters were appealing. Lauren is a very strong character . I love when the main characters are not whiny and can do things there selfs. Yes main characters need side characters to help them along the way but they can also fend for them selfs. Dean. I didn't just love dean for his good looks or charm I loved him for his flaws and trials. I cant say anymore or I just would spoil the book.
Over all I adored this book and loved it !!!   " Lily's words made me ach and jump for joy all at the same time."

PS. I love range rovers always have!!! And guess who drives one Dean!!!

 My Q&A With Lily:
Yea I got to ask Lily some questions!!!

Q: Who is the author you look up to the most.

A: Tarryn Fisher, Meg Cabot, Garth Nix

Q: Three words to describe your book shelf(S)

A: Diverse, messy, now-on-my-kindle

Q: If Dean were real what would you do  .

A: Probably die. I would just keel over on the sidewalk and die. That would be the end.

Q: How did you pick the tittle for this book?

A: Go find a lighter, or a match. Then light it. Then think about it for a little bit.
Okay, I'll help you out - each one of the characters is stuck at the beginning, and they all need a little bit of a push. Also, I liked how the fire and ice themes contrasted.

Q: Out of all the book projects your working on if you had to pick which one is your favorite?

A: Volition. Tate McKenna might be my favorite character of all time.

Q:  What was your inspiration for Ignite?

A: I nannied three kids for a week my junior year of college, and I started to wonder what it would be like if that was my life. So essentially, all of the kids have semi-real counterparts running around which is a little weird. When I picture the house in Ignite, I picture their house.

Q: What is something interesting about you that most people don't know ?

A: I was on St. Vincent when they were filming the first Pirates of the Caribbean and I got to meet Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom.

Q: What is something you never leave your house without?

A: My phone. That's a sad, sad thing, but I'm paranoid. Also, chapstick.

Q: Favorite movie?

A: I have SO many. The Lord of the Rings (all of them), Star Wars, 27 Dresses, The Wedding Date, Charlie St. Cloud, A Knight's Tale, Gladiator, Jumper, Titanic, Troy... I have really diverse favorites.

Q: All time favorite book?

A: Sabriel by Garth Nix

Q: Which book from another author do you wish you wrote?

A: Hopeless by Colleen Hoover, but it wouldn't be half as brilliant if I wrote it. PS - Dean's name was Dean before I read that book!

Q: If you could be successful writing another genre which would it be?

A: I hope to be successful in all of the other genres I'll write! So mostly Sci-Fi/Fantasy.

Q: If you could live in another time period which would it be?

A: I wish I could time travel. Because I would definitely want to go back to ancient times, but I'd also love to see the more recent past. I'm a history buff. It was my minor in college.

Q: If you could live anywhere where would that be and why? (You can pick the moon)

A: New York City. I'm addicted to that place, as you'll see in Volition.

Q:Favorite song to dance to?

A: Whatever's on! I can't pick a favorite because my fingers would fall off from listing them!

Q:Do you prefer to write on the computer or on paper?

A: I went through this whole phase where I carried a moleskine around in my purse and wrote stuff down whenever I thought it up, but then it started to fall apart, so I started using the notes feature on my phone. When I write, I primarily type it into Scrivener first. I type faster that I write, so although I want to be all broody and hipster, let's be real. It's my computer.

Q: Ebook or physical book?

A: I think my kindle has ruined me. The convenience of it and the fact that I can read in the dark is fantastic. I recently tried to read a paperback ARC and I couldn't figure out how. THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG WITH ME. It's awful. I also love my kindle to death... but then again nothing will ever beat that book smell that books have.

Q: If you had to send one of you characters into the Hunger Games which one would it be?

A: Tate McKenna. She would kill everyone, and she would win.

Q: If this was a supernatural book what supernatural being would dean be ? Lauren?

Lauren would be a valkyrie, and Dean would be a vampire. But he wouldn't be sparkly.
